Last weekend, I played 3 shows in Italy with ‘futuristic multi-metal’ band CRYPTOSIS. Their drummer Marco Prij couldn’t make it, for the first time in 12 years, so the guys called upon me to fill inas their live session drummer. Blending thrash metal with atmosphere, feroucious riffing, and plenty of uneven counts, breaks and details, their music is challenging. Challenge accepted. Many hours of studying and practicing later, I’m looking back at an awesome and succesful minitour in Italy.
